The Brief

A cashback programme is only compelling if people understand it. Touch 'n Go Digital needed to explain the mechanics of #EverydayCashback clearly enough that users grasped exactly how, where and when they'd benefit — because a perk that's confusing is a perk that goes unused.

The Approach

SushiVid worked with 84 influencers, each with between 50K and 1M followers, to break the cashback mechanics down in relatable, explainer‑style content rather than pure promotion. The brief was clarity: show the everyday situations where the cashback applies, in plain language, so the benefit felt real and usable rather than abstract.

The Execution

Instead of shouting an offer, creators taught it — walking through how #EverydayCashback works in the ordinary moments their audiences recognise. The large, mid‑tier roster spread that explanation across a huge, diverse audience, so the understanding scaled as widely as the reach. Because the content taught rather than sold, it was also more shareable — a clear explanation of a genuinely useful perk is the kind of thing people tag friends in, which helped push the campaign to its exceptional 16.4 million reach.

The Results

The explainer‑led approach reached an exceptional 16.4 million people and generated 2.6 million views — the widest‑reaching campaign in this collection, and proof that clear, useful explanation travels.

The Takeaway

Sometimes the most persuasive content is the clearest. For a mechanic‑heavy benefit like cashback, explainer‑style creator content — teaching, not selling — makes the perk usable and, at 16.4 million reached, does so at massive scale. The lesson: when a product needs understanding, make comprehension the campaign.
